Phantom Sportfishing - Kona Fishing Charter
Get ready for an epic day on the water aboard the Phantom, a 40-foot Gamefisherman Express known for its unmatched stability, comfort and high-performance design. Built to conquer the deep waters off Kailua-Kona — one of the world’s top destinations for big-game fishing — the Phantom offers the perfect platform for anglers of all levels.
Guided by a seasoned captain and crew, you'll head to some of the most productive fishing grounds in Hawaii in pursuit of prized game fish. Target species include Pacific Blue Marlin (A'u), Striped Marlin (Nairagi), Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna (Ahi), Skipjack Tuna (Aku), Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Wahoo (Ono), and Shortbill Spearfish (Hebi). Every catch is by the book, only legally permitted species are targeted.
All charters are private and fully customized for your group. Want to mix fishing with sightseeing? No problem. Planning a family outing? Kids are welcome aboard!

Driving directions:
Coming from Queen Kaahumanu Highway (aka Highway 19) turn onto Kealakehe Parkway. Free parking is available in the harbor lot. Buses also run from Kailua-Kona to Honokohau Harbor, a 10-minute ride.

- The Phantom is a 40-foot Gamefisherman Express, comfortably accommodating up to 6 passengers and ensuring plenty of space for fishing and relaxation. The vessel features a deep-V hull and provides a smooth ride in varying sea conditions, ensuring a comfortable day on the water even when going offshore. The spacious cockpit includes built-in rod holders, coolers and a Murry Brothers fighting chair. The vessel is also equipped with a tuna tower, giving the captain a higher vantage point to spot your next big catch. Below deck, you'll find a comfortable cabin with seating, a small galley (kitchen) and a private head (toilet) for the convenience of passengers on longer trips.
